The Memory Keeper Stamp Exchange

Do you have good quality used rubber stamps that you no longer use? If so, there is no need to wait for our next garage sale to cash in on them. The Memory Keeper is starting a second hand stamp exchange program.

There are two ways for you to sell your good quality rubber or acrylic stamps.

1) We will “buy” them outright from you. Bring in your stamps for us to see and we will let you know how much we will offer you for them. You will not receive cash, but will get a gift certificate for the store for the amount we have offered, so essentially you are exchanging your stamp for other store product. We will only be “buying” stamps on certain days of the month so please check our on line calendar for upcoming buy dates.


2) We will sell your stamps for you on consignment. Determine ahead of time how much you would like to receive for each stamp, and then bring in your stamps for us to see. We will let you know which ones we are willing to take at the price you are asking. If your stamp sells, you will receive a gift certificate for the store. Please note that the amount of your gift certificate will be the amount that you originally asked for your stamp and not necessarily the price we ended up selling your stamp for. Again, we will only be accepting stamps for consignment on certain days of the month, so please check the calendar.


There are a few things to consider before you decide which method is best for you. If we are buying your stamps outright, it is likely that you will receive less for them because the risk for us is higher to buy them, than to except them on consignment. However, if we are unsure that your stamps will sell, we may not be willing to buy them and then your only option will be consignment. If you decide to sell your stamps on consignment, although you could potentially receive more for them, you will have to wait until they actually sell before you receive anything. Consignment stamps will only be allowed to sit on the shelf for a limit period of time. If they do not sell within this period of time they will be returned to you.
